Trip to Iowa
We traveled to Iowa this summer for Lee's Grandmothers 80th birthday and also a Fandel Reunion. It was Chase's first plane ride and overall he did a great job. We had a few bumps in the air..and it was not turbulence! Luckily we had enough room so he could move around and that seemed to help out. It was so great to see all the family and hear some new stories. It was a great trip!
Another trip to the zoo....
This time at the zoo was totally different. We were going for a nice time at the zoo that ended up getting rained out. We were stuck under a tent close the elephants and it was amazing. For some reason the elephants just came right to the fence. It was awesome. Chase was really into all the animals. We weren't able to go see the famous ant eater (my husband was truly disappointed but we did see a few animals before we left and of course as soon as we got in the car and left the zoo...the sun reappeared. Just our luck. We did go back a week later on a beautiful Saturday and Lee was able to see the ant eaters and Chase loved seeing the goats!

Chase working!!
Lee has always said that he wanted a boy to do all the yard work.... his dream has come true but with a few exceptions. One-Chase is not of age to work. Two-his lawn mower only shoots bubbles. Please don't tell Chase this he really wanted to help daddy and he worked really hard that day.
Pool Time!
We finally are in the apartment and after two days of moving.. it was time for a swim. At first Chase was not wanting to get in the water. It was a little cold but after a while and a little persuasion from Grandpa and daddy. He was all in and loving it. He just loved being in the pool and didn't want to leave. He also was flirting with some cute girls at the pool. Daddy and Grandpa called him a chick magnetic. I would agree! He is a cutie in his swim suit!
At the Park
My mom and my cousin came into town and we decided to have a picnic. We went downtown the Centennial Park and had so much fun. Chase just loved being outside and watching all the ducks! His new thing is showing you were airplanes fly... in the sky. He now points up every time he hears one fly bye. He loves planes like his mommy!
Fandel Fun!
